South Korea’s ousted president, Yoon Suk Yeol, has taken extreme measures to avoid arrest by erecting barbed wire around his home and blockading its entrance with vehicles. This comes after South Korea’s parliament impeached him and suspended him from official duties following a short-lived declaration of martial law. Despite efforts to detain him, including a six-hour standoff, Yoon has refused to appear for questioning. His challenge to the arrest warrant was rejected by a court in Seoul.
It’s quite a dramatic situation. What are your thoughts on this?
